Vacancy available at OCEANGROWN AQUACULTURE GENERAL WORKER (STORES) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Cut and splice rope • Prepare buoys, rope, and mussel sock to go to sea • Pack and store floats and ropes in the storage yard • Maintain an organized and clean storage area • Assist with boat and maintenance operations • Conduct beach cleanups and retrieve lost infrastructure. • Assist with other general tasks as required JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Ability and willingness to lift and move a weight of approximately 15kg • Ability and willingness to perform regular activities of bending, stooping, and lifting • Previous experience working in stores would be advantageous. • Senior Certificate (Grade 12). • Clean criminal record. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Good communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to Multi-task • Adaptable • Fast learner • Team player • Highly dependable • Ability to work under pressure • Time management • Demonstrate good personal hygiene practices • Trustworthy • Pre-Sea would be advantageous Closing Date: 11 September 2026 at 12H00pm.
