Guest Relations Officer - ARG

About the role

Celebrity Cruises is seeking a Guest Relations Officer for shipboard employment. The role owns guest interactions and follow-up, delivering seamless, exceptional, and memorable premium service. As part of the Guest Relations team, the officer liaises between guests and Hotel and Marine Departments, anticipating guest needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of guest interactions, follow-up, and guest sentiment after each interaction.
• Maintain professionalism and emergency preparedness within stateroom services, and support the operation in resolving elevator and ADA alarms.
• Represent the ship and Guest Relations on external calls and provide personalized service to internal and external guests and crew.
• Respond to escalated guest concerns with empathy, active listening, and a considerate, professional, and positive manner.
• Track metrics including guest counts, call volume, call content, and guest and crew call behavioral analysis.
• Communicate inventory and program information.
• Maintain orderliness, emergency preparedness, and efficacy of stateroom services.

Requirements

• Speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests.
• Conversational proficiency in additional languages is preferred, such as Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, or German.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Front Desk/Receptionist in a 4 or 5 * Hotel.
• Shipboard guest services experience is an advantage.
• Outstanding hospitality, communication, and organizational skills, effective decision-making abilities, and keen attention to detail.
