About the role

Silversea seeks a Hotel Director S to oversee hotel operations and support guest satisfaction through welcoming, efficient service and crew friendliness.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all aspects of hotel operations to ensure optimum guest satisfaction through a welcoming and efficient guest service experience and foster crew friendliness.
• Embrace and aspire to be Forbes 5 star.
• Ensure crew are fully aware of Forbes standard requirements through training and that the ship is ready for possible inspection.
• Resolve challenges onboard and ensure all issues are solved onboard.
• Lead a powerful and inspiring morning meeting.
• Mentor and support heads of departments, identify training needs, and develop talent.
• Actively participate in weekly public health inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Requirements

• Proven 5* luxury experience and 6-8 years of professional experience in luxury hotel operations, a luxury atmosphere and service culture (multi-outlet), with at least 5 years at a management level.
• Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and an exceptional guest experience focus.
• Previous cruise line experience is an advantage, but experience in luxury hospitality and other service-driven industries is also considered.
• Excellent fluent English, verbal and written. Conversational skills in additional languages are an asset.
