IDB Invest operates in 26 countries, across four geographic regions and three industry verticals: Infrastructure and Energy, Financial Intermediaries, and Corporates. Its shareholders approved a $3.5 billion capitalization in support of the “Originate to Share” business model. This will allow IDB Invest to scale up investments, nearly doubling annual financing from approximately $8 billion to $19 billion.

IDB Invest is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Asset Liability Management (ALM) Senior Consultant. The role contributes to balance sheet management and key ALM initiatives, and takes ownership of day-to-day management and continuous enhancement of ALM activities, including market risk, liquidity risk, funds transfer pricing (FTP), and capital management.

The role is in the Treasury Division, part of the Finance and Administration department, and reports to the ALM team. Treasury is responsible for borrowing, hedging, trading, cash management, and ALM of IDB Invest’s overall balance sheet. Its units are Funding, Investments, Local Funding Solutions, and ALM.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead projects to enhance IDB Invest’s balance sheet management framework, including ALM, capital management, and funds transfer pricing.
• Secure stakeholder alignment.
