matrix exports is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Import Export Executive Intern to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This internship offers hands-on experience in global trade, logistics, and compliance within a fast-paced international business environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in negotiating and finalizing contracts with suppliers and partners. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for import and export activities. Conduct market research to identify potential trade opportunities and monitor industry trends. Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and logistics providers to ensure smooth operations. Support the compliance team in ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and customs procedures. Track shipment statuses and prepare reports for management to evaluate shipping efficiencies. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements within the import-export function. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or related field. Strong negotiation skills focused on developing mutually beneficial agreements. Proficient in documentation processes for international trade, including customs paperwork. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in market research is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with export and import software/tools is a plus. Open to learning and ideally available for a 6-month to 1-year internship.
