Instructional Designer

Insight Global is seeking an Instructional Designer (eLearning Course Development) to support a large-scale digital learning initiative for a higher education client. This individual will partner closely with Subject Matter Experts and a US-based Project Manager to rapidly convert existing content into high-quality, engaging online courses. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume production environment, brings strong instructional design fundamentals, and has hands-on experience with modern eLearning tools like Articulate Rise. This is a fully remote, Colombia-based contract role offering the opportunity to contribute to a highly visible and impactful learning program.
Required Skills & Experience3+ years of experience designing and building eLearning or online training contentHands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise strongly preferred)Experience building and deploying courses within CanvasProven ability to transform SME-provided content (e.g., Word docs) into engaging, structured coursesStrong understanding of instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, backward design)Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholderStrong project management and organizational skills in fast-paced environments
Nice to Have Skills & ExperiencePortfolio of eLearning work (Articulate Rise examples preferredExperience designing courses for higher education, MBA programs, or corporate learningFamiliarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practicesExperience supporting large-scale or high-volume course development initiativesExperience using collaboration/project tools (Asana, Slack, or similar)Familiarity with advanced authoring tool customizations or plugins (Rise enhancements)
