Inventory ERP Controller

About the role

Bearing Centre is looking for an Inventory ERP Controller to help keep inventory accurate, organized and ready to support customers. The role supports branches in Blantyre and Lingone.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support customer branches.
• Plan and conduct perpetual/cycle (PPI) stock counts.
• Reconcile physical stock with ERP records and investigate variances to identify root causes.
• Monitor stock movements, receipts, issues and transfers.
• Support stock replenishment, including min/max levels and reorder points.
• Identify slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock.
• Prepare inventory reports and analysis.
• Maintain accurate item records and stock data in ERP.
• Work with purchasing, sales, stores and accounts.
• Recommend process improvements and stronger controls.

Requirements

• Open to candidates with experience in inventory control or stock management.
• Experience using an ERP or computerized inventory management system, such as SAP, Sage or Dynamics.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, including formulas, filters, reports and PivotTables.
• Good numerical and analytical ability, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Honest, reliable and responsible, with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in industrial spares, distribution, automotive, FMCG, manufacturing or the automotive environment is an advantage.
• K8 experience is not required. Experience with another ERP or inventory system is acceptable, and training on K8 will be provided.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical inventory and Excel assessment.
