The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections or repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Execute remodeling projects involving plumbing adjustments or installations. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Familiarity with construction plumbing practices and techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work. Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately. Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
