Junior Java Developer - Remote Work

About the role

INDI Staffing Services is looking for a Junior Java Developer to join its development team and participate in projects with multicultural teams distributed throughout the world. The role is suited to proactive team players passionate about Java and providing the best experience to the end user. Developers will work with current technologies and face technical challenges involving the mobile world, web applications, devices, and more.

Responsibilities

• Work with software development teams to gather requirements and ensure best practices are followed.
• Design, implement, and support solutions for application development, security, analytics, and performance management.
• Follow industry security coding standards, including Fortify scans and other security tool review requirements.
• Conduct code reviews for team members and peer reviews to ensure code follows standards set by architects.
• Run test scripts against code to ensure quality delivery.
• Resolve code issues promptly.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Java.
• Experience in web application programming.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Ability to work with relational and non-relational databases.
• Advanced English level.
