Kitting Supervisor

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Kitting Supervisor to support material flow between the Warehouse and Production and help ensure material availability for the production plan.

The role contributes to plant delivery metrics, inventory accuracy, and the security of the Kitting area. It also involves participation in Eaton Business System (EBS), Eaton Management of Environmental Safety & Health (MESH), BPI, RIE, value stream mapping, and other continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate area workflow and prioritize products for kitting according to Zorders, ZQMOR, and customer requirements.
• Ensure material availability and continuity of flow between the Warehouse and Production.
• Support the daily, weekly, and monthly production plan at the kitting level and contribute to inventory accuracy.
• Keep electronic SAP inventory movements accurate against physical inventory for items kitted and confirmed in SAP.
• Audit SAP transactions between the Warehouse, Production floor, and Shipping department, and coordinate SAP reviews to resolve discrepancies and support customer compliance with the MDC.
• Monitor material movements from the Warehouse to the Production floor and supervise product flow in the shipping area.
• Manage material handling and the Max Min strategy.
• Provide kitting employees with the tools, equipment, and training needed to perform their activities correctly and safely.
• Maintain Kitting area security according to the MESH program, provide tools and feedback to employees, and communicate stockouts in advance if they may affect the production plan.
• Escalate inventory discrepancies in the Kitting area and work in alignment with Production, Planning, and Purchasing.
• Make decisions about kitting procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
