Localization Project Manager

About the role

Join the Games Localization team at Lionbridge Games and help create new language versions for games. The team works across different parts of the world alongside the global Lionbridge Gaming team. As project manager, you will manage all aspects of localization projects for clients in the gaming industry. The team delivers translations and works with audio, testing, and technical teams to deliver the final localized product.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and deliver projects.
• Create budgets and schedules.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
• Assign tasks to translation and technical teams and help ensure they work together effectively.
• Advise customers on localization processes and workflows, including loc engineering, audio, and QA processes.
• Participate in process improvements.
• Build good customer relationships and oversee project costs and revenue to achieve good margins.
• Lead the project team toward top-quality delivery.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a localization project management role, managing translation projects from start to finish.
• At least 2 years of experience working with CAT tools, including direct experience with at least one tool.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, process-oriented thinking, planning, data-based decision-making, and creativity in resolving issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
