Logistics and Trade Compliance Lead

About the role

Inchcape Américas is seeking a Logistics Trade Compliance Lead to join its Distribution Excellence team in Puerto Rico. The role oversees logistics operations, trade compliance, and supply chain efficiency. It includes managing import and export processes, tracking shipments, resolving delays, and ensuring compliance with Foreign Trade Zone regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee domestic and international shipments for motorcycles, boats, marine engines, and spare parts, ensuring efficient movement from origin to destination.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations so orders are processed, shipped, and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor shipment status, identify potential delivery delays, and implement real-time solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate accurate and timely preparation and submission of required customs documentation.
• Develop, track, and report logistics and supply chain key performance indicators in collaboration with the Head of Logistics and Supply Chain.
• Analyze logistics bottlenecks, transportation delays, and operational inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization across logistics and supply chain.
• Work closely with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
