Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Quadrivius Honduras is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support Account Executives and ensure successful execution of customer shipments. The role involves scheduling shipments, securing reliable carriers, negotiating competitive rates, monitoring carrier performance, and ensuring assigned loads are covered and shipped as scheduled.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate professionally with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Previous logistics experience is not required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Book and schedule shipments assigned to the Account Executive or team.
• Communicate shipment status, carrier coverage, and operational needs to Account Executives and the leadership team.
• Use systems, technology platforms, and tools to locate and secure appropriate equipment for customer shipments.
• Assign qualified carriers based on shipment requirements, service expectations, and profitability targets.
• Negotiate carrier rates within established cost and profitability targets.
• Develop relationships with core carriers to improve service consistency and reduce reliance on load boards.
• Post available shipments to the internal load board.
• Ensure shipments scheduled for the day are covered and expected to move as planned.
• Monitor carrier performance and promptly report service failures, delays, or potential shipment disruptions.
• Maintain productive working relationships with customer representatives, motor carriers, Account Executives, and other employees.
• Understand operational metrics that contribute to team profitability, including call statistics, revenue, net revenue, load counts, and variance to target and maximum.
• Enter, maintain, and update shipment information accurately in company systems.
