Mainframe Developer

QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Mainframe and Batch Processing skills for building and supporting enterprise workloads.Candidates should possess solid Application Development and Software Development skills for designing, coding, testing, and deploying mainframe solutions.Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, performance tuning, and impact analysis.Experience with common mainframe languages and tools (e.g., COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS) is highly beneficial.Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile or Waterfall) and version control tools is preferred.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in supporting large-scale, mission-critical systems in financial, insurance, or similar domains is a plus.
