Mechanical Assembly

Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the completion of elevator refurbishment and new elevator projects
Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA safety regulations
Learn mechanical assembly and electrical components of elevators
Perform shop housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment
Operate forklifts and soldering tools
Perform maintenance, repairs, painting, fabrication, welding, and remodeling of metal products
Perform manual forging, shaping, straightening, sizing, and heat treating of metal products
Interpret drawings, blueprints, and prints
Install metal products such as windows, fencing, doors, and railings
Inspect equipment for proper operation and maintenance needs
Operate acetylene cutting torches, welders, and other shop equipment
Check in with your direct manager daily
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and follow procedures
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Forklift experience is a plus
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
