Mold Technician

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mold fabrication or plastic injection engineering company and mold die maintenance & repair.
• Extensive experience in plastic mold repair, including: Flashes, Burrs, Scratches, Dents, Flow marks, Short shot, Sink marks, Burn marks, Warpage, Weld lines, Air traps, Gas burns, Mismatched parting lines.
• Strong ability to analyze mechanical drawings for mold layout, components, and tolerances.
• Skilled in assembly and disassembly of molds for inspection, polishing, repair, and mold fitting activities.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment such as Laser Welding and polishing tools.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• Knowledge of tool steel types, their treatment process, and proper handling during repair work.

Additional skills (Advantageous):
• Operational knowledge of: Surface Grinding Machine, Lathe Machine, Milling Machine, EDM Machine (Electrical Discharge Machine)
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and production issues
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail
• Capable of working under pressure and maintaining high-quality repair standards
