Senior Video Editor – Remote in the Philippines

Arca is seeking an accomplished Senior Video Editor in the Philippines for one of its U.S.-based clients. This remote, full-time role is ideal for a skilled editor with strong storytelling instincts and the judgment to shape raw footage into compelling, polished videos.

This is not a template-driven editing role. You will uncover the story within the footage and make intentional decisions about structure, sequencing, pacing, tone, B-roll, and music. You should be able to explain how each creative choice supports the message and audience experience.

What you'll do

• Turn raw footage into polished, story-driven long-form videos.
• Identify the central narrative, strongest moments, and emotional direction of each project.
• Make independent editorial decisions about structure, sequencing, pacing, and tone.
• Use B-roll to clarify ideas, reinforce meaning, and sustain audience engagement.
• Select music that supports the story and its emotional direction.
• Edit interviews and testimonials into clear, persuasive narratives.
• Create brand and website videos that explain what a company does, who it serves, and why it matters.
• Improve viewer retention while preserving professionalism and substance.
• Complete color correction, audio cleanup, sound design, and finishing.
• Add titles, lower thirds, motion graphics, and other visual elements when they strengthen the story.
• Manage feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Keep footage, project files, assets, and exports organized.
• Communicate proactively with the client and team throughout production.

Projects and content

Work will primarily include long-form YouTube videos, brand stories, interviews, testimonials, educational content, and commercial productions.
