We are currently looking for a Network Monitoring Analyst, to work in an onsite role in NY (later it can be remote) for a 6+month job opportunity to up to 2 years. Job Title: Network Monitoring AnalystLocation: Onsite in PanamaStart Date: ASAPDuration: 6+ monthsJob Description: We are looking for Network Monitoring Analyst with solid hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. The candidates should have practical knowledge and experience in:TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, VLANs, NAT, routing, & switchingLAN, WAN, internet, VPN, firewall, and ISP connectivity monitoringIn mostly Cisco environment but not limited to Cisco only. Routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, network linksInvestigation of network connectivity issuesNetwork monitoring and diagnostic with tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, Wireshark, or equivalentIncident management, technical escalation within ServiceNowWorking in a shift-based monitoring & support environmentClear communication with internal resolver teams, local IT, network engineers, vendors, and internet service providersThe candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-resolution skills, with the ability to collect evidence, determine the likely source of an issue, and escalate it with complete technical and business context.Knowledge and practical experience in server and client infrastructure will be considered a strong advantage. This includes familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, server hardware, operating system health, services, event logs, storage, backups, and basic PowerShell troubleshooting.The ideal candidate has strong expertise in networking combined with sufficient server and client knowledge to troubleshoot incidents across the complete infrastructure stack rather than treating network issues in isolation.Desired CharacteristicsEffective written and verbal communication in EnglishStrong documentation and technical writing skillsCustomer-focused and service-minded approachAbility to take ownership and communicate proactivelyWillingness to work across time zones and in shiftsAbility to work independently & collaborate across technical teamsEagerness to learn complementary server and client technologiesExperience with ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management processes. Role and ResponsibilitiesMonitor and support day-to-day network operations and service availability.Investigate, validate, and escalate network-related alerts and incidents.Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for OT infrastructure incidents.Ensure incidents are documented, routed, and followed through to resolution.Proactively contributes to service improvements, problem management, and monitoring optimization.Support project implementations and operational readiness activities.Work closely with network, server, and local support teams to minimize service interruptions.Candidates with knowledge of both Networking and Server/Client technologies will be highly preferred.
