Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care by administering medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Monitor and assess patients’ health status regularly, documenting changes meticulously and communicating findings effectively with the interdisciplinary medical team. Assist in coordinating patient discharge plans, offering clear education on home care and health management to promote successful recovery. Participate actively in patient care planning meetings to collaborate with healthcare professionals and enhance care delivery strategies. Maintain a safe, clean environment by adhering strictly to infection control protocols and safety regulations, reducing risk of healthcare-associated infections. Respond promptly and empathetically to patient inquiries and concerns, fostering a supportive and comforting atmosphere. Stay current with nursing best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities, ensuring high standards of care. What We're Looking For Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Strong patient care and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred: Experience in a clinical setting; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
