Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg / ICU - Orlando, FL

Arijita Ghosh is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg / ICU team in Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for patients in Med-Surgical and Intensive Care Units.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor and accurately document patient progress, vital signs, and any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and execute effective patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication regimens, and discharge instructions.
• Support and mentor nursing students and new staff members through supervision and training.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care outcomes.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida.
• 1 to 3 years of nursing experience in Med-Surg or ICU settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
