On-Site Project Manager / Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced On-Site Project Manager / Contract Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of an ongoing project in Esmeraldas, Ecuador.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys being close to the operation, working directly with teams, solving problems, and taking ownership of day-to-day execution. The role requires a strong on-site presence, practical leadership, and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day execution of the project and overall contract requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders on-site.Coordinate personnel, resources, subcontractors, and service providers.Plan and coordinate daily activities and operational requirements.Monitor quality, schedules, compliance, and overall performance.Identify issues and coordinate corrective actions.Ensure services are delivered according to established requirements and standards.Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.Lead and support the on-site team, promoting accountability, teamwork, and a results-oriented environment.Take a hands-on approach solving operational challenges and supporting the team when needed.
What We Are Looking ForPrevious experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager, Contract Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership roles.Experience managing people, resources, subcontractors, vendors, or multiple services/activities simultaneously.Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic, hands-on environment.Comfortable managing changing priorities and responding to operational needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness and ability to work fully on-site in Esmeraldas.Fluent English — written and spoken. The interview process will be conducted in English. Candidates must be able to participate in interviews in English.
