About the role
Excel Nearshore is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with experience in Oracle Financials and exposure to .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions for enterprise financial applications and business-critical processes. This is a fully remote position from México.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support application functionality and improve performance.
- Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, query optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Support and maintain Oracle Financial processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Collaborate with development teams supporting .NET applications and Azure-based cloud solutions.
- Develop and support data integrations, reporting solutions, ETL processes, and batch jobs.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
- Work with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide production support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Development.
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining stored procedures.
- Experience in Oracle Financials and exposure to .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure.
