Oracle PLSQL Developer

Excel Nearshore is seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with experience in Oracle Financials, and exposure to .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions that support enterprise financial applications and business-critical processes.
This role requires strong expertise in Oracle database development, performance tuning, and financial systems, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
This is a fully remote position from México.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support application functionality and improve performance.Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, query optimization, and root cause analysis.Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Support and maintain Oracle Financial processes including:⚬ General Ledger (GL)⚬ Accounts Receivable (AR)⚬ Accounts Payable (AP)Collaborate with development teams supporting .NET applications and Azure-based cloud solutions.Develop and support data integrations, reporting solutions, ETL processes, and batch jobs.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and industry best practices.Work closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Provide ongoing support for production environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Development.Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.Extensive experience developing and maintaining Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions and Triggers.Strong understanding of Oracle Financial Accounting processes, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP).Experience supporting financial or enterprise business applications.Exposure to .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure cloud services.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Azure Data Services and cloud-based integrations.Familiarity with financial reporting and data reconciliation processes.Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience supporting large-scale enterprise financial systems.
