About the role
The Patient Recruitment Specialist coordinates and delivers patient recruitment and retention services for assigned clinical studies, working with Patient Recruitment Leads to support successful study execution. The role manages day-to-day recruitment operations across multiple countries and works with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver activities on time, within scope, and in alignment with the approved patient recruitment strategy.
The position supports study teams by maintaining accurate study data, timelines, milestones, financial tracking and reporting, and complete, compliant, audit-ready documentation. It uses independent judgment to prioritize tasks, resolve routine issues, and escalate risks or deviations to the Patient Recruitment Lead as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient recruitment and retention deliverables for assigned studies, aligned with the approved recruitment strategy and study timelines.
- Coordinate translations, printing, and shipping of patient-facing and study materials across multiple countries with internal teams and external vendors.
- Prepare and compile country-specific submission packages and deliver required materials to Regulatory teams according to submission requirements and timelines.
- Manage recruitment-related operational activities, documentation, and study activity tracking.
- Work cross-functionally with Regulatory, Project Management, Finance, and Clinical Operations teams, as well as external vendors.
- Maintain study timelines and milestones, support financial tracking and reporting, and ensure study documentation is complete, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Prioritize operational tasks, resolve routine issues, and escalate risks or deviations to the Patient Recruitment Lead as appropriate.
