Procurement Analyst

DESCRIPTION:
The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for goods and services that support the operation, maintenance, and improvement in the plant. This includes managing vendor relationships, optimizing costs, ensuring service quality, and aligning procurement strategies with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead sourcing activities for facility-related categories.Develop and execute procurement strategiesRun RFQs/RFPs and evaluate supplier proposalsNegotiate pricing, service-level agreements (SLAs), and contract termsEnsure contracts comply with company policies and legal standardsMonitor contract performance and renewalsBuild and maintain relationships with key suppliersConduct supplier performance reviewsResolve escalations and service issuesIdentify cost-saving opportunitiesTrack and manage procurement budgetsAnalyze spend data and trendsUnderstand internal stakeholder needs and translate them into procurement strategiesEnsure vendors meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standardsMitigate procurement and operational risks
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in strategic sourcingSAP MM ModuleFluent business EnglishAdvanced negotiation skills (pricing, SLAs, and contract terms)RFQ/RFP process management and supplier proposal evaluationSpend analysis (spend data and trends) to identify savings and build category strategyProfessional degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering, with a specialization in procurement
