About the role
BMA Group Global is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support and lead sourcing activities, negotiate technology contracts, and collaborate with Legal, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders. The role delivers sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement tasks for the Global Hardware Procurement Team.
- Execute end-to-end procurement processes for IT and technology categories, including hardware, peripherals, and services.
- Support or perform supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Collaborate with Legal to review and negotiate contractual terms, ensuring compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Engage internal stakeholders to gather requirements, influence decisions, and align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Analyze spending, identify savings opportunities, and improve the sourcing pipeline.
- Analyze historical reporting and usage demand, and forecast upcoming procurement demand.
- Manage supplier relationships to drive value, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports and dashboards using advanced Excel and other analytics tools.
- Contribute to category strategies and procurement transformation and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement roles.
- Fully bilingual in English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Detail-oriented, with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer obsession orientation and understanding of category management principles.
