Programmer Analyst Bilingual for Important International FinTECH

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Programmer Analyst based in Peru to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong software engineering expertise with a focus on fintech, payment solutions, and transactional systems. You will collaborate closely with clients, business analysts, and international engineering teams to design, build, test, and support robust technical solutions aligned with architectural standards and business strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Software Lifecycle: Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, and support software applications across complex payment processing environments.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clients, business analysts, and cross-functional team members to understand core business requirements and translate them into high-performing technical designs.System Architecture & Alignment: Ensure full compliance with established architectural standards and maintain strategic alignment with FIS business strategies.Application Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for payment media applications in production.
Technical & Professional QualificationsEducation: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Industry Experience: Preferred/demonstrated experience in fintech, payment applications/media, and transaction processing (development or support).Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC): Strong knowledge of end-to-end SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Iterative, and modern Agile approaches.Business Modeling & UML: Proficiency in business modeling disciplines and requirement definitions using Unified Modeling Language (UML).Technical Stack & Protocols: Experience with C, C++, or Ada in Linux/Unix environments; familiarity with financial/banking transaction protocols (e.g., ISO 8583) and high-availability systems.Language Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (strong verbal and written communication skills required for global stakeholder interaction).
