Project Manager - Building Automation Systems (BAS)
TRC Talent is partnering with a fast-growing engineering organization specializing in building automation and advanced control systems to hire a Project Manager to lead Building Automation System (BAS) projects from concept through completion. This role serves as the primary customer contact while managing project execution, financial performance, schedules, resources, and risk mitigation. The Project Manager will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Salary up to $120K a year.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage project profitability, forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, and change orders.Develop and maintain project schedules; monitor progress and resource requirements.Lead project execution to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.Identify and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions as needed.Serve as the primary customer contact and negotiate contract changes.Coordinate engineering teams and project resources across multiple projects.Support continuous improvement initiatives and project management best practices.Qualifications3+ years of experience in project management, technical leadership, or a related role.Knowledge of HVAC systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).Familiarity with HVAC sequences of operation, P&IDs, instrumentation, and control valves.Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer management skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Building Automation and/or Industrial Controls.Familiarity with Rockwell, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, or Ignition platforms.Commissioning or startup experience preferred.
