Key Responsibilities Coordinate purchasing activities including sourcing, vendor selection, and timely order placements to ensure uninterrupted project flow. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, tracking delivery schedules and resolving discrepancies promptly. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address purchasing needs and swiftly resolve any procurement issues. Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability to meet operational demands without overstocking. Prepare detailed reports on purchasing activities, identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting budget adherence. Support budget management through basic accounting functions related to purchase orders and vendor payments. Collaborate with multiple departments to continuously improve procurement processes and supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all purchasing activities. What We're Looking For Required: High School Diploma or equivalent educational credential. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams. Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple procurement tasks efficiently. Attention to detail with robust record-keeping capabilities. Basic understanding of accounting principles related to purchasing and vendor coordination. Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Experience in team collaboration and contributing positively to a dynamic work environment. Preferred: Previous experience in procurement or purchasing coordination within the construction or related industries. Familiarity with inventory management software and procurement tools. Knowledge of local vendor markets in Hillsboro and the greater Oregon area. Demonstrated ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
