Key Responsibilities Supervise ongoing construction and maintenance activities ensuring strict adherence to PWD standards, drawings, and timelines to guarantee project success. Coordinate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth workflow. Conduct rigorous quality control checks on materials such as cement, sand, metal, concrete, and tiles, ensuring compliance with PWD norms and safety regulations. Prepare detailed daily and weekly progress reports, maintain measurement books (MB), site logs, and support documentation for accurate project tracking. Perform routine site inspections for construction, roadworks, and repair projects, verifying work completion before billing and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Manage vendor and contractor communications regarding schedules, material supplies, and technical queries, facilitating timely project delivery. Assist in administrative tasks including office paperwork, PWD documentation, correspondence, and support tender preparation and bidding processes. Ensure all work complies with government guidelines, PWD rules, and approved quality standards, reporting any deviations promptly. What We're Looking For Required: Retired officer with proven experience in Public Works Department (PWD) construction and maintenance projects. Strong knowledge of PWD standards, government regulations, and safety compliance. Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise with contractors and site teams. Ability to prepare accurate reports, measurement books, and support documentation. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality control. Willingness to work full-time on-site in Sāngli, Maharashtra. Preferred: Experience with tender preparation, bidding processes, and administrative office tasks.
