Python Backend Engineer SSRSR

Required skills:
Python 3.12+ (must-have) — strong production Python, not just scripting-level
Snowflake (must-have) — comfortable writing and optimizing SQL against Snowflake as both a data source and a destination for pipeline output
Docker (must-have) — building and optimizing container images, including packaging ML model artifacts and their runtime dependencies into deployable images
Kubernetes (must-have) — deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes; understanding of pods, deployments, resource limits, and cluster networking basics
Ability to take a research-grade prototype and turn it into tested, maintainable, scheduled production code

Preferred skills (ranked high to low):
Kubernetes CronJob experience specifically (scheduling, concurrency policy, backoff limits, failure-history handling)
KServe or equivalent model-serving platform experience (Seldon, BentoML, or similar), since building out a KServe cluster is the defined next phase of this role
Familiarity with clustering/statistics concepts used in the prototype: K-means with auto-K via silhouette scoring, Jenks Natural Breaks for tiering, feature normalization/weighting
