Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description:We are seeking a QA Analyst to test and validate software controlling or monitoring washer/dryer hardware. This role focuses on ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing strategies, identifying issues, and assisting in integration with hardware products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking abilities and expertise in modern QA tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user storiesPerform thorough testing including functional, integration, regression, and API testingCritically analyze software functionality to identify edge cases and potential failure scenariosDocument and track bugs, defects, and inconsistencies using JIRACollaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycleAssist in integration testing with hardware devices (washers/dryers and IoT systems)Create and maintain test documentation in ConfluenceAnalyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies
Required QualificationsMust Haves:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field1-3 years of QA experience with demonstrated expertise in at least ONE of the following areas:SQL: Writing complex queries for data validation and backend testingTableau: Creating test reports and data visualization for quality metricsMobile App Testing: Experience with iOS/Android testing methodologiesTest Automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworksAPI Testing: Proficiency with tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similarStrong critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to:Design comprehensive test cases from business requirementsIdentify alternate failure scenarios and edge casesThink beyond happy path testingProficiency with JIRA for bug tracking and test case managementExperience with Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharingUnderstanding of software QA principles, methodologies, and best practicesStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsWillingness to learn about hardware-software integration
