Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Mroads is looking for a "Quality Assurance Automation Engineer" for one of the direct clients in Bogota, Colombia. This is a hybrid role.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.Create and execute automated UI, API, and regression test suites.Develop API automation using REST Assured, Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.Build automation scripts using Java or TypeScript/JavaScript.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve.
Required Skills5+ years of experience in QA Automation.Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.Experience in API Testing using REST Assured, Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.Proficiency in Java or TypeScript/JavaScript.Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (preferred).Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and API validation.Experience with version control tools like Git.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of SQL and database validation.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
