The organization values reliability, respect, and integrity in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the wider community.Role Description The Recepcionista is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose, Costa Rica, responsible for greeting patients and visitors, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and providing courteous front-desk support. Day-to-day tasks include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining updated patient information in the system. The role involves coordinating with clinical staff, handling basic documentation, managing waiting room flow, and ensuring that patients receive clear information about their visits. The Recepcionista also supports administrative tasks such as organizing files, processing payments or receipts when needed, and helping maintain a clean, orderly reception area.Qualifications Ability to provide professional, friendly, and respectful customer service to patients and visitors.Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is an advantage.Basic computer literacy, including use of email, calendar tools, and patient or office management software.Organizational skills to manage appointments, documentation, and multiple tasks in a busy environment.Attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient information and administrative records.Ability to work on-site full time in San Jose, Costa Rica, and collaborate effectively with medical staff.Previous experience in reception, customer service, or healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory.High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in administration or healthcare support is a plus.
