Safety Account Manager

Role Description The Safety Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in San Pedro Sula. This role is responsible for managing safety-related accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensuring that contractual obligations and service levels are met. Day-to-day activities include assessing client safety needs, coordinating safety programs and training, monitoring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and preparing reports and documentation. The Safety Account Manager collaborates with internal teams to implement safety solutions, follows up on incident investigations and corrective actions, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. This role also involves maintaining accurate account records, forecasting client needs, and contributing to business growth through strong, long-term client relationships.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in safety management, occupational health and safety, or risk management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong client relationship management skills, including account coordination, stakeholder communication, and service delivery follow-up.Ability to interpret and apply safety regulations, standards, and internal policies, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, training materials, and client presentations.Proficiency with common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, databases) and basic data analysis for safety metrics.Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, propose preventive measures, and support incident investigations.Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing operational needs.Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred.Relevant professional certifications in safety or occupational health (e.g., OSHA-related or local equivalents) are an advantage.
