About the role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Spines engages with prospective and existing authors, understands their publishing goals, and guides them toward services that fit their needs. Spines is an AI-driven publishing company that helps transform manuscripts into published books in under 30 days, across print-on-demand, eBooks, and audiobooks.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries and conduct outbound calls and follow-ups.
- Present Spines' publishing solutions and explain pricing, timelines, and the publishing process.
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, qualify leads, and prepare tailored proposals.
- Meet or exceed individual and team targets.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, Sales, or a related customer-facing role.
- Ability to conduct cold calls, build trust with prospects, handle objections, answer questions, and resolve concerns professionally.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
Benefits
- Compensation includes a base salary of USD $1,200 plus uncapped commission, with earning potential based on performance.
