Salesforce OEM Application Developer

QAT Global, a 25+ years IT consulting firm based in the US, is seeking a highly-skilled Salesforce OEM Application Developer with the ability to communicate well in English. This position will work directly with the customer located in the US and with development teams in our US, Costa Rica, and Brazil locations.This opportunity can be 100% remoteOnly hiring QAT Employees (CLT only in Brazil)Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain a managed Salesforce OEM application using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.Build advanced Salesforce functionality that combines code and configuration, including:Complex Flows (screen, record-triggered, and scheduled)Custom Apex triggers and asynchronous processingCommunity Cloud / Experience Cloud implementationsCustom security models using profiles, permission sets, and permission set groupsArchitect scalable and secure solutions aligned with Salesforce OEM/ISV best practices, including multi-tenant considerations and upgrade-safe design.Develop and maintain custom data models, integrations, and automation while ensuring performance, governor-limit compliance, and maintainability.Manage and execute data migration and data transformation processes using Apex, ETL tools, and Salesforce APIs, ensuring data integrity across environments.Collaborate closely with product managers, clients, and internal teams to:Gather and refine technical requirementsTranslate business needs into robust application features and architectureTroubleshoot and resolve application-level issues, including Apex logic, automation conflicts, data integrity problems, and deployment-related errors.Build test classes with strong code coverage and participate in CI/CD and release management activities.Support packaging, versioning, and upgrades of the OEM application.Provide technical guidance, documentation, and enablement materials for:Clients using the OEM applicationInternal teams supporting and extending the productCreate and maintain technical documentation such as:Architecture and configuration workbooksDeveloper and admin guidesTesting strategies, test plans, and deployment protocolsPartner with Salesforce Administrators and customer technical teams to ensure correct configuration and extension of the OEM application.Required ExperienceStrong hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.Proven experience blending programmatic development and declarative configuration to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.Experience designing and implementing advanced Flows, triggers, and automation based on provided logic and business rules.Deep understanding of: -Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations -Security, permissions, and sharing modelsPerformance optimization and governor limitsAbility to quickly understand and extend the architecture of a commercial software product built on Salesforce.Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design sophisticated user experiences across screens, records, and automated processes.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern release practices.Salesforce certifications such as: -Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II -Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator -Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder(preferred but not required)Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Familiarity with C# and the .NET ecosystem, particularly in the context of backend services, integrations, or enterprise software development.Experience working with AI-assisted development workflows, would be a nice to have such as:Using AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentationApplying AI-assisted debugging or code review techniquesIntegrating AI thoughtfully into development processes while maintaining code quality and security standardsPrior experience building or supporting OEM/ISV applications, including managed packages, AppExchange distribution, or Salesforce Security Review preparation
Preferred ExperienceBS/MS in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
