Every Special Child is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in San Bernardino, CA for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide vital psychological support to students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that enhances student well-being and academic success. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop tailored interventions. Provide individual and group counseling addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Lead workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on mental health awareness and effective student support strategies. Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of assessments and outcomes. Respond to crisis situations with timely intervention and support during emergencies or critical incidents. Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to student care. Required and Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology (required). Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and school personnel. Experience in an educational setting is preferred. Proficiency with psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques. Familiarity with software and tools used in school psychology practice. Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate in a team-focused environment. Licensure or certification as a School Psychologist is a plus.
