Recruitment Specialist in Lafayette, Louisiana

AM Talent Sourcing is hiring a full-time Recruitment Specialist in Lafayette, Louisiana. This on-site position pays $18 per hour. You will help source, assess, and hire qualified candidates while partnering with hiring managers and HR colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Create job postings and define role requirements to attract qualified applicants.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain applicant tracking systems and keep candidate records up to date.
• Help develop and implement recruitment strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and prepare job descriptions.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with candidates and colleagues.
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and hiring software.
• Previous recruitment or human resources experience preferred.

Team and Reporting

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Recruitment Specialist will work closely with HR team members, hiring managers, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align recruitment strategies with talent acquisition needs.
