Senior Account Executive – Hospital Sales and Physician Sales
Bay Area Territory: The territory is San Jose and Santa Clara
Our client is a premier provider of specialty medications. We are seeking a dynamic sales talent to call on referral sources in the San Jose and Santa Clara area and surrounding communities.
Job Duties for Senior Account Executive – Hospital Sales
Take ownership of a territory calling on specialty physicians, nurses, case managers, and other health care professionals in hospital, office, and clinic settings.Assist in developing and executing plans to grow business through accurate business projections, goals, specific strategies and pertinent account information.Prepare and execute strategic plans for top active and prospective accounts.Effectively communicates with intake, distribution, and clinical teams.Work closely with clinical and operations branch personnel to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction with the goal of delivering the best service possible to patients receiving these critical therapies.Communicates in a timely manner with the physicians/discharge planner/ social worker to update on patients that have been referred.Established effective partnerships with patient assistance programs (PAPs).Effectively communicates with agency staff, medical team, patients, and family.Maintains a professional image.Leads, participates in, and attends required in-services.
Qualifications for Senior Account Executive – Hospital Sales
Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience calling on physicians, and hospitals in the San Jose and Santa Clara market.Proven experience selling a service and/or biological drugsPreferred experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Home Health, Home Infusion, DMECurrent relationships with infectious disease, gastroenterologists, rheumatologists, and oncologists/ hematologists a plus.Must possess strong problem solving and organizational skillsMust be willing to travel within designated territory - position includes generous car allowance and no overnight travel.RN or Pharmacy degree is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
