About the ClientOne of our long-standing clients, an established US technology company in IoT connectivity. Their platform keeps large fleets of deployed devices online, and engineering is split between Chile and the US.
Role OverviewYou take over the AWS side of the platform: who can access what, how the accounts are governed, the network, security and cost. First up is an account redesign already underway, bringing least-privilege access to every account and federating sign-in through an external identity provider. A platform engineer owns Kubernetes and the delivery pipeline, and a senior leader hands the AWS estate over to you as you learn it.

Required Skills and ExperienceClaude Code or similar every day, with agents working in CI as well as your editor, and the judgement to check what they produce5+ years running production AWS hands on, day to dayDeep IAM from real work: roles, policies, trust relationships and least privilege across multiple accountsIdentity federation (Identity Center, SAML, SCIM), or a solid grasp of it and the appetite to own itCloudTrail, Access Analyzer, SCPs, VPC design, routing and DNSTerraform, CDK or CloudFormation, and Python for automation
