Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to advance the organization’s analytical capabilities and modernize the FP&A function. The role combines technical depth, financial acumen, and stakeholder leadership. It involves designing enterprise-grade BI solutions, conducting advanced financial analysis, and supporting leaders across the business as a strategic thought partner.

The analyst will interpret BMU performance, trends, and category-level insights while driving automation, standardization, and data integration across FP&A. The role calls for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions, including data models, semantic layers, and interactive dashboards.
• Optimize Power BI performance through query folding, model size reduction, and DAX tuning.
• Implement Microsoft Fabric components, including Direct Lake, Lakehouse, and semantic models.
• Apply Medallion architecture principles (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to deliver scalable, governed analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on design.
• Conduct advanced financial analysis and interpret BMU performance, trends, and category-level insights.
• Drive automation, standardization, and data integration across FP&A.
