Its global team brings together expertise in revenue management, data science, AI engineering, software development, and human-centered design to deliver impactful, scalable results.Role Description The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support advanced analytics and AI solutions. In this full-time remote role, the individual will work closely with data scientists, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to architect data models, optimize ETL processes, and ensure reliable data flows across multiple platforms. Daily responsibilities include developing and monitoring data pipelines, implementing data quality controls, managing data warehousing solutions, and enhancing performance of existing data systems. The Senior Data Engineer will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and technical standards while mentoring team members and supporting solution design for client engagements.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong data engineering skills, including experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and distributed data systems.Candidates should possess data modeling and data warehousing skills, with the ability to design efficient schemas and optimize storage for analytics and reporting.Candidates should possess Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills, including developing, orchestrating, and monitoring robust ETL workflows in modern data platforms.Candidates should possess data analytics skills, enabling collaboration with analytics and data science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar) is highly beneficial.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (such as Python, Scala, or Java) and strong SQL skills is a must.Demonstrated ability to work in remote, cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and documentation skills.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience supporting AI/ML or advanced analytics use cases and familiarity with data security, privacy, and governance best practices are a plus.
