About the role
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for its Military Avionics organization and Flight Management & Controls team. The role involves hands-on design, development, integration, and verification activities to implement Military Avionics solutions. The position is at the Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico when employment begins; relocation is not offered. The schedule is 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, following the Manager-assigned schedule.
Responsibilities
- Support programs through Software Development Lifecycle activities, including requirements, design, code, and testing.
- Work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver program work.
- Perform design, development, integration, and verification activities for Military Avionics solutions.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program or contract.
- Residence in Puerto Rico at the start of employment is required; relocation is not offered.
Security clearance: None/Not Required.
