About the role
EXL is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical professional passionate about reporting and data management. The role supports critical reporting activities by delivering accurate and timely business reports.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using established templates.
- Extract, compile, and analyze data from ERP systems and reporting tools.
- Validate report data for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain reporting trackers and dashboards.
- Support month-end reporting activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams on data collection and issue resolution.
- Perform variance analysis and identify discrepancies.
- Deliver reports within agreed timelines.
- Maintain reporting documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests from stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Reporting, MIS, Finance Operations, or a similar role.
- English proficiency at B2+ or higher.
- High/intermediate Excel level, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Good understanding of reporting and data management processes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
