About RedtreeRedtree Engineering, part of CSI's global network, specializes in engineering, project management, and construction support services for power systems, industrial facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, and complex energy projects.We are seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our Redtree LATAM team and lead the Instrumentation & Control discipline on large-scale industrial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, set technical direction, and shape the delivery of high-impact energy and industrial projects.Position OverviewAs a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer, you will lead the I&C discipline across EPC, EPCM, and engineering projects. You will define the technical direction of the discipline and take ownership of engineering deliverables, providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Instrumentation & Control discipline on EPC, EPCM, and engineering projects.Define control and automation philosophies, design criteria, and engineering standards.Supervise and review engineering deliverables.Lead technical reviews with clients and vendors.Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.Evaluate technology solutions and control system architectures.Manage technical risks and develop mitigation plans.Contribute to engineering estimates, proposals, and tenders.Ensure compliance with project technical, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.Required QualificationsDegree in Electronic, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.More than 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control on industrial, energy, oil & gas, chemical, or large-scale process projects.Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).Ability to coordinate tasks and contribute across multiple concurrent projects.Preferred QualificationsWe highly value candidates with experience in:Technical leadership and decision-making.Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.Analytical thinking and technical problem-solving.International standards including IEC 61511, IEC 61850, and ISA standards.Industrial projects, combined-cycle facilities, and substations.AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft Office, SmartPlant, AVEVA, or similar tools.What We OfferThe opportunity to lead high-impact projects at a leading regional engineering consultancy.International exposure and clear opportunities for career growth.Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams that value innovation and technical excellence.Participation in projects across power generation, industrial infrastructure, and process facilities.A collaborative professional culture focused on technical excellence.Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with experience and qualifications.Join Our TeamIf you are passionate about instrumentation and control engineering, enjoy leading technical initiatives, and want to be part of projects that shape the future of energy and industry, we would love to hear from you.
