About the role

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems for global enterprise and technology markets. Its platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT.

The Talent Development team works to make leaders and managers at Canonical genuinely excellent. It defines what great management looks like and develops leaders and managers through direct, hands-on work, both centrally and embedded in engineering and commercial organisations.

As a Senior Organisational Development Practitioner, you set the standard for coaching and organisational development at Canonical. You work with real leaders and are expected to be credible with directors. The role combines work with the central team and periods embedded in a leader's organisation, using field insights to inform leadership and management development across Canonical.

Responsibilities

• Coach leaders to a clear standard of management excellence.
• Diagnose how an organisation is led and drive a plan to raise its standard.
• Develop practitioners working in the field.
• Turn insights from embedded work into ways to develop leaders and managers across Canonical.
