About the role
Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a Senior Planner Maintenance to work with one of its top clients in the Barceloneta area.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work with other trades and groups, operating departments, managers, facility engineers, outside contractors, and support service providers. Check completed work for conformance with standards, codes, specifications, and the requestor’s expectations.
- Identify opportunities to plan for equipment availability and plant shutdowns, and coordinate work schedules with maintenance coordinators, managers, and others who need to be aware or involved.
- Estimate the hours required for work order tasks, total work order duration, and the skills required.
- Facilitate communication and coordination through discussions and meetings, preparing sketches, drawings, or vendor literature, and ordering parts and materials from the stockroom or vendors.
- Improve the integrity of the preventive maintenance program by maintaining computerized maintenance management system data and instructions, including checklists, thought triggers, spare parts, maintenance frequency, regulatory compliance, manufacturing schedules, job plan content, and maintenance request or change request forms.
- Procure equipment, materials, and specialized tools through purchase requisitions. Contact external suppliers for proposals for services and materials, including day-to-day orders, special spending, spare parts, capital items, and purchase order changes.
- Support the procure-to-pay process, including quotes, invoices, payment, and purchase order closing.
- Assist with generating, investigating, and closing exception reports for accounts payable in Engineering.
