About the role
The Senior SQL Server DBA will lead database administration initiatives and ensure the performance, availability, and security of critical SQL Server environments. The role involves optimizing database systems, mentoring DBA teams, and setting the standard for database operations excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize SQL Server environments, focusing on performance, availability, and security.
- Lead technical decisions and provide guidance on database infrastructure and operations.
- Mentor junior and mid-level DBAs in SQL Server best practices and administration techniques.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on SQL Server administration experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.

- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor DBA teams.
- Deep understanding of database security, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
