Senior Structural / Civil Engineer in New York City, NY

Grant M is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural / Civil Engineer to join our innovative team in New York City, NY . This W2 Contract role offers a competitive rate of $60 per hour and the opportunity to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed structural analysis and design of buildings and infrastructure using advanced engineering methods. Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of design calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with local and national building codes. Lead design presentations and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Work closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members throughout project phases. Participate in project planning, feasibility studies, and evaluation of materials and construction techniques. Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all engineering work adheres to regulatory standards. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural design and analysis within civil engineering. Proficiency in structural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not mandatory. Experience with concrete and steel structural design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
