Senior TypeScript AWS Lambda Developer

Experience (Must Have)
- 6+ years of professional software development, with at least 3 years building production services on AWS
- Proven hands-on delivery of serverless applications in production
Programming Languages (Must Have)
- TypeScript (advanced: strict typing, generics, type-safe API contracts)
- Node.js (asynchronous programming, performance, and packaging for Lambda)
Serverless & AWS (Must Have)
- AWSLambda (handler design, cold starts, concurrency, layers, bundling with esbuild)
- AmazonAPIGateway (REST and HTTP APIs, authorizers, throttling)
- AmazonEventBridge, SQS, SNS, and AWS Step Functions
- AWS SDK for JavaScript v3
- Familiarity with Powertools for AWSLambda (TypeScript) or similar
APIs & Microservices (Must Have)
- RESTful API design and OpenAPI specifications
- Microservices and event-driven architecture patterns
Databases
- AmazonDynamoDB (single-table and access-pattern-driven design)
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, or Microsoft SQL Server)
Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD (Must Have)
- AWS CDK in TypeScript (preferred), AWS SAM, CloudFormation, or Terraform
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline)
- Git-based workflows
Testing
- Jest or Vitest for unit and integration testing
- Mocking of AWS services and local testing approaches
Security
- IAM roles and least-privilege policies
- Amazon Cognito or equivalent (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, JWT)
- AWS Secrets Manager or Parameter Store
